Working principle: By setting a filter element in the air flow channel of the e-cigarette, when the user smokes the e-cigarette, the smoke passes through the filter element. The materials in the filter element will adsorb or filter out some harmful substances such as nicotine, tar, and heavy metals. Common filter element materials include activated carbon, fiber cotton, etc. For example, activated carbon has a porous structure and can adsorb various harmful substances in the smoke; fiber cotton can intercept some larger particles.
Advantages: Relatively simple and direct, it can reduce the inhalation of harmful substances to a certain extent. The filter element can usually be replaced to maintain the filtering effect.
Disadvantages: The filtering effect may be limited, and it may not be able to completely remove some tiny particles or specific harmful substances. Moreover, as the usage time increases, the adsorption capacity of the filter element will gradually decline, and the filter element needs to be replaced regularly to ensure the filtering effect.
